We at sky9 distribute our app through multiple channels to suit your device and preference. Android users can download our APK directly from our website; iOS users access our web app through Safari or Chrome, then add it to their home screen for a native-like experience. Web users on desktop or tablet can access sky9.app directly in any modern browser.
Installation walk-through
- Download: Visit sky9.app on your Android device and tap the Android APK download link, or on iOS open our site in Safari and bookmark it, or add to home screen for app-like access.
- Install: For Android, if you see "Unknown sources" warning, enable installation from unknown sources in your security settings, then tap the APK file to install. For iOS, tap "Add to Home Screen" and name the shortcut "sky9".
- Register or login: Open the app or web shortcut, create a new account (username, email, password, phone, ID verification) or log in with your existing credentials.
- Start betting: Deposit via DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, or other supported methods, then access sportsbook markets, live-dealer tables, or slots immediately.
App vs. browser experience
Our native Android app offers offline data caching—recent live-dealer streams and market data remain accessible even if your connection drops local paymentefly. Push notifications alert you to odds changes, settled bets, and available live tables. App startup is typically faster than loading a browser. However, the web app requires no installation, updates automatically, and works on any device with a modern browser. Both versions sync your account instantly: a bet placed on the app shows immediately in your web browser session, and vice versa. Choose the app for convenience and speed; choose the browser if you value simplicity and cross-device flexibility.
Device compatibility
Our Android app requires Android 7.0 or later; most devices released after 2017 meet this standard. iOS users need iOS 12.0 or later; iPhone models from iPhone 6s onward are supported. We recommend at least 100 MB of free storage for the APK and cached data. Both platforms support landscape and portrait orientations; live-dealer tables display optimally in landscape. Older devices may experience slower HD stream loading on live-dealer tables—in such cases, we recommend using the web browser version or reducing video quality in the app settings.
Common installation issues and fixes
If Android installation shows "Cannot install unknown app," go to Settings → Apps & notifications → Special app access → Install unknown apps, select your browser or file manager, and enable permission. If you see "Certificate not trusted" on iOS, tap "Allow" when the certificate prompt appears—our app uses standard SSL certificates. If login fails after installation, clear your app cache (Settings → Apps → sky9 → Storage → Clear Cache) and try again. If push notifications don't arrive, check that sky9 has notification permissions in your device settings. If the app crashes on startup, ensure you have at least 100 MB of free storage and restart your device.
Data, permissions, and account security
Our sky9 app requests the following permissions: internet access (required for betting and live streaming), location access (optional, used only for regional compliance checks), and notification permission (for bet settlements and new table alerts). We do not store your password in the app; instead, we use encrypted session tokens that expire after a set time. Your account credentials are transmitted over HTTPS only. If you log out, all session tokens are revoked immediately. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available in your account settings for additional security. If you suspect unauthorized access, use the "Forgot password" link to reset your credentials and contact our support team via live chat or email to report the incident.
